Planks are one of my favorite exercises to incorporate into my training programs! They are excellent for testing and developing core strength and endurance. Since the core is the center of the body's power and stability, this exercise is what I would consider fundamental to a solid foundation of fitness. The great thing about planks is that there are so many variations you can do as you progress on your health and fitness journey. Additionally, having a strong core can help guard against lower back pain for most individuals.”
