High Intensity Interval Training

What equipment do I need?

The equipment for HIIT can range from nothing at all to bench presses. Here are a few that might help round out your home gym.

  • Resistance bands
These are super versatile. You can use them for so many different push and pull movements. They’re a must-have for any burgeoning home gym. Get a bundle of various resistance bands here!
  • Dumbbells
Dumbbells are a great way to challenge yourself. If you normally do squats with just your bodyweight, try them while holding five-pound dumbbells. You can find some here.
  • Jump rope
Jumping rope is a great way to get the heart pumping. You can use this to warm up or ask your trainer how to incorporate it into your workout. You can find various lengths of jump rope here.
