The lessons I learned growing up with sports and martial arts are fundamental to the manner in which I train my clients and my own physical discipline. “Excellence is not a singular act, but a habit. You are what you do repeatedly.” - Aristotle. Physical fitness is an enlightening experience. Through my body I find clarity of mind. My definition of being fit means having good self esteem and the physical endurance to keep up. To gain strength one must remember it’s not just physical. You must have the mental strength to believe in your success and must have the heart to do what it takes to achieve it. I became a personal trainer in 2006 and through my journey I have learned that we must take a holistic approach to our gains. Our thoughts, emotions, and actions must be in harmony to achieve the long-lasting results we desire.
